Outside Reading Theme #1: Individuals Fighting Dystopias
In class, we are focusing on Edgar Allan Poe and people who followed Poe but looked to him for inspiration. Each one of these books below contain an element of Poe's strengths, whether it is suspense, mystery, horror, or dystopia. There is no hotter genre right now than dystopian ficiton, and these books below are either dystopian classics or the best of the new generation of the genre.
