The documentary Blackfish chronicles an incident at Sea World where a killer whale named Tilikum drowned his trainer. The documentary interviews various trainers and explores Sea World's treatment of its killer whales. Also, engage the following questions----Should whales be kept in captivity? How does the poem “Caged Bird” by Maya Angelou complicate or support your argument? Will Tilikum kill again? What should Sea World do in the future to prevent another “accident?” Was it truly an accident?

At home, write a TYPED two page paper that delves into these questions. It can be double spaced if typed. If you do not have access to a computer at home, then you can hand write the essay, but it must be four pages and single spaced.

Make sure you use well developed paragraphs, write in third person, and include at least three strong concrete details per paragraph. The best way to use concrete details might be to list them in groups of three.
